Growing up just South of Boston in Milton gave me exposure to a suburb with close proximity to the city. Fenway, The Garden, and all the great neighborhoods of Boston were a short ride up 93. The South Shore beaches, the Cape were a short trip South and an escape and always felt like a vacation. You didn't have to get on a plane at Logan to be on a beach. Living in Boston for years after college allowed me to stay close to my family and friends. I soon realized that my wife and I were spending all our free time visiting her family and our friends on The Cape. All throughout the year, we found a reason to head down Rt 3 South. No longer just in the summer. We decided to buy a second home with the intention of having a place of our own to stay. This home turned into our year-round home when my wife's career brought her to Cape Cod Healthcare. We began to meet and discover that each town had a great year-round community. Our favorite restaurants stayed open in the winter and we discovered that the locals in each town come together to host seasonal events. We got to know people working in all different industries and raising families in the coastal areas they love. In 2020 our son Graham was born and we are looking forward to introducing him to all the Cape has to offer. ( especially The Cape League )
