The Lobster Trap has been our go-to restaurant since landing here. Many special occasions and dinners and drinks with family and friends have been shared at this favorite over the years. Just past the canal on Shore Road, the Delancey Brothers have created a special place. The Lobster Trap offers a fish market, indoor/outdoor dining, and a friendly bar scene. The year-round restaurant is on a coastal inlet. The sun shining through the large windows creates a great vibe. Fresh seafood, craft beer ( including a custom Mayflower IPA ) creative dishes and a well-rounded menu keep us going back.
Check out the Lobster Trap's sister restaurant up the street for a welcoming local feel at The Trading Post Lounge. Since the remodel in early 2022, It has been a great place to catch a game, play pool or enjoy a South Shore Bar pizza.
